Dr. M Shulkin
Dr. M. Shulkin is a third-generation dentist and is proud to follow in the footsteps of his family. Dr. Shulkin graduated from St. Petersburg Medical University Dental School in 1994. After immigrating to the United States, he continued his education and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California in 1999. Soon afterwards, he completed a residency at the University of California San Francisco.
In 2000, Dr. Shulkin opened his private practice in Waltham, where he now specializes in cosmetic dentistry. Dedicating a substantial number of hours each year to continuing education in cosmetic procedures, implants, Invisalign®, and root canal therapy, Dr. Shulkin takes special pride in the cosmetic and aesthetic component of his practice.

Dr. Martin Urban joined Moody Street Dental in 2008 and has been performing periodontal and oral surgical procedures here ever since. Dr. Urban received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1999. Following his graduation, he pursued three additional years of specialty training in periodontics at Harvard University.
Dr. Urban has advanced training in implant placement, periodontal procedures and utilizes many of the most current implant systems to improve our patients’ oral health and smiles. For your comfort, Dr. Urban is also certified in conscious sedation.
Dr. Urban strives to stay updated on the most recent advances in dentistry by dedicating his time to continuing education. In addition to advanced courses in implant dentistry, Dr. Urban has also completed training in advanced gum and bone grafting oral surgical procedures. When he is not practicing, Dr. Urban enjoys taking his three rescue dogs for long walks.

Lana is our office manager and insurance coordinator. With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, Lana can provide you with the care you need. Originally from St. Petersburg, Lana now lives in Newton with her husband and three sons. In her spare time, Lana enjoys home redecorating, music, and being with family.
